Lantra Chainsaw Courses

lantra chainsaw courses

Chainsaw work is high-risk and requires the right training, competence, and certification. This month, we’re highlighting our Lantra Chainsaw Courses, covering everything from basic maintenance and cross-cutting through to advanced felling, windblown trees, refreshers, and qualifications.

At KNW Training, we deliver the full suite of Lantra chainsaw training, supporting forestry, arboriculture, utilities, estates, and land-based industries to ensure operatives work safely, legally, and competently.

Why Choose Lantra Chainsaw Training?

Lantra Awards is one of the UK’s leading awarding bodies for land-based and environmental training. Lantra chainsaw qualifications are widely recognised by employers, insurers, and industry bodies, and are often a requirement for site access and compliance.

Lantra chainsaw courses are suitable for:

  • Forestry and arboriculture professionals
  • Grounds maintenance and estates teams
  • Utilities and infrastructure workers
  • Anyone required to operate a chainsaw as part of their role

Training can be delivered as training-only, assessment-only, or combined training and assessment, depending on experience and role requirements.
