  • Identify items that may carry viral contamination and those which do not
  • Explain the consequences of a needlestick injury and self-contamination
  • Demonstrate good hygiene and cleansing procedures to avoid self-contamination
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of how to manage a needlestick injury
